Kia Seltos S

The entry level Kia Seltos S is FWD only, with a CVT 2.0L petrol engine powertrain. It features 16-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, cruise control, bluetooth connectivity, brake assist, hill descent control, keyless entry, forward collision warning, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, lane keeping assist, driver awareness alert, autonomous emergency braking, reversing camera, a temporary spare wheel, and smart power tailgate. The Kia Seltos has well-equipped base level specs, and slips through city traffic in smooth comfort.

Kia Seltos Sport

Next, the Kia Seltos Sport adds 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, climate control, a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen display, premium steering wheel and gear shifter, adaptive cruise control, and a full size spare wheel. The big infotainment screen is a crowd pleaser with families, and the user interface is easy to use as well.

Kia Seltos Sport +

The Kia Seltos Sport+ upgrades to a 1.6L turbocharged engine, CVT for the FWD model and 7-speed auto dual-clutch transmission for AWD. Equipment includes everything from the S and Sport, plus push button start, heated leatherette front seats and steering wheel, blind spot monitoring, front parking sensors, cyclist detection, an electronic parking brake, and heated mirrors. The Sport+ would be the starting model for you if you’re after AWD, which gets you a great fuel economy of 7.6L/100km.

Kia Seltos GT Line

The Kia Seltos switches up to 18-inch alloy wheels, a premium 8-speaker sound system, LED headlights and DRLs, wireless charging, powered front seats, rain-sensing wipers, and adds ventilation to front seats. It packs a whole lot of value in a premium package, and the ambient interior lighting that’s connected to the sound system is a fun touch too.

Is a used Kia Seltos safe?

Being quite new to the scene, you can expect even a used Kia Seltos to have some of the most advanced modern safety tech. All variants of the Kia Seltos have secured 5-star ANCAP ratings too. Autonomous emergency braking is standard on all variants, with more like six airbags, reversing camera, cruise control, forward collision warning, and brake assist to match. On the Sport+ and GT-Line models, you’ll get a more advanced AEB that adds cyclist detection, blind spot monitoring, and front parking sensors.
